The Team
Plus 94 research has a staff complement of over 200 full time employees in South Africa. The company uses in excess of 1000 interviewers per year that are thoroughly trained for market research and general survey purposes.
Sifiso is a co-founder and CEO of Plus 94 Research. He has a PhD in Management of Technology and Innovation from The Da Vinci Institute. He leads the research, design and development efforts at Plus 94 Research, and is at the forefront of technological integration. He ensures that a quality-driven process is implemented, and sound statistical methodologies are used to achieve actionable market research solutions. Sifiso is a member of numerous business and industry associations. He has served as the President of PAMRO (Pan African Media Research Organisation), a former Chairman of SAMRA (Southern African Market Research Association), and is currently a member of ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion and Market Research).
Dr Tirhani Mabunda has had an illustrious career as an administrator, educator and entrepreneur. His research career began as a part-time consultant for Statomet; a research division of the University of Pretoria. Dr Mabunda later joined Africa Now Consulting as MD in 1997. Shortly thereafter, he co-founded Plus 94 Research in 1998, a company he still serves as a board member and shareholder. Dr Mabunda holds a PhD qualification in Management of Technology and Innovation from The Da Vinci Institute (2017).
Takalani is the financial director Plus 94 research. She has the following qualifications: BCom (Accounting), Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences and Programme in Taxation: A strategic Approach. She is also a member of South African Institute of Professional Accountants.
Rafal is the Technical Director at Plus 94 Research and has served on the SAMRA council. He is one if the best DP Directors in South Africa. His market research career began in 1995 when he joined one of the large market research houses as a Data Processing Manager. In 2000, he joined Plus 94 Research and launched a fully operational and diversified DP department. Rafal oversees a team of 25 data processing specialists, which includes data coders, editors, electronic dashboard report developers and programmers. Rafal and his team work closely with the project management and statistical teams to assess the quality and conduct in-depth analysis of each research study’s collected data.
Kezia is the Managing Director at Plus 94 Research. She joined the company in 2009 and is known for being results oriented. She has a solid grasp of the financial and operational management of the company, and she plays a key role in executing policies and shaping the strategic direction of the organisation. Kezia works effectively with all members of the senior leadership team, as well as with employees at all levels within the organisation. She has a track record of delivering on the goals and objectives of the company.
